Executive Director of the Folsom Historic District Association
"Invisible Son put on an absolutely phenomenal show that had everyone captivated from start to finish—our audience couldn't stop talking about it, and we all left feeling like we'd just experienced something truly special. If you're looking for an unforgettable tribute to The Police, this band delivers far beyond expectations."
More than a tribute - Invisible Son is Sacramento’s Definitive Live Police Experience - Recreating the music, sound and energy of Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland!
MEET INVISIBLE SON
Why the name? It's a play on The Police song Invisible Sun from their 1981 album Ghost in the Machine. Invisible Son brings that invisible spirit as a high-energy celebration of The Police, performed by three seasoned musicians whose own journeys make this music personal.
From Frankie Consulo, who started playing drums at age three and was known as the “10-year-old drummer” in Sacramento's underground punk scene, to Paul Marr, whose years as a DCI marching snare drummer and percussion educator forged an obsessive attention to rhythm and precision, to Scott Rodell, a four-time SAMMIE Award-winning performer who has shared stages with The Killers, The Tubes, The Byrds - and even The Beach Boys - Invisible Son brings a depth of experience to the stage that goes well beyond simply playing the songs.
Together, they recreate the energy, musicianship and unmistakable sound of The Police - from the reggae-infused drive of Roxanne to the atmospheric beauty of Every Breath You Take.
With meticulous attention to tone, arrangement, and performance, we transport audiences back to the golden era of new wave rock. Invisible Son delivers an unforgettable night of music.

FROM CORPORATE STAGES TO STING
Scott's musical résumé reads like a tour history. After studying at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, he spent 16 years performing with APPLE Z, one of Sacramento's most successful cover bands.
Four consecutive SAMMIE Awards earned the band a place in the Hall of Fame, along the way sharing stages with acts including The Killers, The Tubes and The Byrds - and even putting Scott onstage with The Beach Boys.
Today, Scott steps into Sting's role as Invisible Son's lead vocalist, bassist and keyboardist, bringing years of professional stage experience to the music of The Police.
Frankie Consulo - GUITAR
Recreating Andy Summers' legendary guitar textures and atmospheric tones.

Claim to fame: Known as the "10-year-old drummer" in Sacramento's underground punk scene
The turning point: Saw The Police live in 2007
Major influence: Andy Summers
FROM PUNK ROCK TO THE POLICE
Frankie's musical journey started almost as soon as he could reach a drum. By ten, he was already making a name for himself in Sacramento's underground punk scene. Years later, seeing The Police live in 2007 introduced him to the melodic, atmospheric guitar work of Andy Summers - an influence that still shapes his playing today.
Now he's come full circle, sharing the stage with longtime friends and performing the music that helped shape him.
Paul Marr - DRUMS
Bringing Stewart Copeland's explosive energy and signature reggae-infused grooves.
Started: High-school band
Deep dive: 3 years as a DCI marching snare drummer
Played: Across the U.S. & Canada
Mentor: 15 years shaping young percussionists at Granite Bay High School
Influences: Buddy Rich • Stewart Copeland • Neil Peart
Masterclasses: Todd Sucherman • Mike Johnston • Dave DiCenso
THE DISCIPLINE BEHIND THE DRUMMER
Paul's path to Invisible Son wasn't exactly a straight line. It ran through marching snare, Drum & Bugle Corps, thousands of hours of practice, drumline arranging and 15 years mentoring young percussionists.
That drum-corps discipline became the foundation for his approach to the drum kit - and eventually led to years of performing with dance bands and serving as a sought-after sub drummer for high-profile acts.
Today, Paul gets to combine that experience with two longtime friends while playing the music that helped shape his musical identity.
Gear of choice: Tama • Paiste • Evans • Vic Firth
